It started with a simple idea: create a space for people who genuinely love progressive house and vinyl. A space where the music comes first, the DJs are selected because they care about the craft, and the dancefloor exists for those who appreciate the journey that only vinyl can deliver.

In a world increasingly dominated by digital convenience, sync buttons and algorithms, POV stands for something different. It celebrates the skill, patience and authenticity of vinyl DJing. 

The aim has always been to keep things underground.

Small venues. Intimate crowds. Quality sound. No egos.

POV exists to give opportunities to local and emerging DJs who are passionate about progressive house and committed to playing vinyl. Many talented selectors never get the chance to play out because opportunities for vinyl DJs have become increasingly rare. POV provides that platform, allowing like-minded artists to develop, connect and share their music with an audience that truly understands it.

Growth isn't measured by bigger crowds or bigger profits.  In fact, profit has never been the goal.  Every pound generated through ticket sales is reinvested directly back into the event which creates better experiences for the community that supports it.

That's the thinking behind the ticket structure. Whether it's £5, £10 or £15, every ticket helps build something sustainable. The aim is to keep events affordable while investing in the future of the project.

At its heart, POV is about preservation.  Preserving progressive house.  Preserving vinyl culture.  Preserving the art of mixing records.
