Hearing Colours at Patch

Not really disco, and definitely not $hit, this ragtag bunch of travelling clubland clowns know how to hold down a party. Fixtures on the festival circuit for over a decade, and with gigs from Canada to Ibiza, Cheshire to Essex, and a few good places too, the collective known as $hit Disco bring the heat, from irresistibly toe-tapping daytime grooves, right through to peak time bangers. Expect house, techno, Balearic and breaks, served with a grin.

Elefant terrible started out as a textbook victim of indie sleaze, spinning blog house and indie dance until the world got so exhausting that the sets had to follow suit: darker, louder, faster, with techno-leaning darkwave now sitting right next to Discopunk and Garage. The occasional 80s synth banger still gets a guest spot, which fits in better than anyone - often including herself - would have thought.

Expect hard cuts, plot twists and way too many feelings, just like a good telenovela.
