About
OPEN UP THE MIC — SHOWCASE
The Studio, Grand Theatre, Blackpool — Sunday 1st November
Get ready for a night of fresh talent, big laughs, and even bigger heart.
Our Open Up the Mic young people take to the stage to share everything they've been working on — stand-up, spoken word, and performance built from a week of workshops, confidence, and courage. This is their moment, and it's not to be missed.
Opening the night and keeping things moving as MC is Black Liver (Ruth Cockburn & Keith Carter) — award-winning comedy duo known for sharp wit and warm chaos in equal measure.
Topping the bill as headliner: Blackpool's own Steve Royle — one of the North's best-loved comedians, bringing the house down to close out the show.
Come and see the next generation of performers take their first steps into the spotlight, supported by some of the best in the business.
