About

The Festival of Life returns this year on Saturday September 5th 11am - 11pm at Biggins Farm, Green Howarth, Accrington.

The Festival of Life is a vibrant, inclusive, family-friendly community event that celebrates the joy of living while bringing people together for a meaningful cause. Created to support local charities and benefit those in need, the festival is built on the values of kindness, connection, compassion, and community.

More than just a day of entertainment, the Festival of Life promotes positive mental well-being, healthy lifestyles, and personal growth. Visitors are invited to explore a welcoming space where they can discover ways to nurture their physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness through a variety of activities, workshops, and experienced wellness practitioners.

The festival offers something for everyone, with live music throughout the day, a diverse range of artisan and community stalls, delicious food and refreshments, family activities, and opportunities to meet local organisations making a positive difference. Whether you're looking to relax, learn something new, support local businesses, or simply enjoy quality time with family and friends, there's something to inspire every visitor.

At its heart, the Festival of Life is about celebrating people, strengthening communities, and creating a lasting positive impact. By supporting charitable causes and encouraging wellbeing, inclusion, and connection, the festival aims to leave every attendee feeling uplifted, inspired, and reminded that together we can make a real difference.

This year the festival will be held in memory of the late Abigail Turner whom leaves behind her two young children; Paisley aged 8 years and Toby aged 6 years.

Initially we were trying to support her fund raising efforts to explore The Art of Healing in India, sadly Abigail lost her battle on the 23rd of July and therefore any profits raised from the Festival of Life will be gifted to her young children in Trust.
