National Playboys

Yampy Promotions present National Playboys + guests.

National Playboys are a dark, theatrical & melancholic Art-Punk quintet based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Sonically, the band blends 80s new wave inspired vocals, with moody guitars, surrealistic poetry and memorable theatrical live performances.

Sharing influences with artists such as Fat White Family, The Doors, Fontaines D.C, Idles and Joy Division.

Over the past 3 years they have been crafting their unique sound and live performances to best represent their identity, receiving national radio support from BBC Radio 6 Music (with airplay from Steve Lamacq) and touring around the UK twice – playing cities such as London, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Dundee.

They gained additional experience showcasing their sound at UK major festivals including on the market stage at Truck Festival, Solfest & Houseguest Festival – with Edinburgh Psych-Festival due in September 2026.

The band are expected to release their much anticipated debut EP at the end 2026 – with more UK dates to be announced.
