

Over fifteen years since discovery and Rebecca Ferguson MBE remains a well respected, multi genre artist admired for not only her unique sound but her songwriting capabilities. Ferguson is one of the biggest musical talents and most recognisable personalities to emerge from Liverpool in the past 30 years.
After becoming TheX Factor’s first female runner-up, Rebecca has proved popular with people of varying ages – she was not only the X Factor’s National Sweetheart but is widely regarded as one of the shows very best talents as 19.4 million people watched that year’s final, where she finished one place ahead ofOne Direction.
‘Heaven’released in 2011, sold over 130,000 copies in its first week, making it the fastest selling debut album by a solo artist that decade, between 2007- 2017. With singles such as ‘Glitter & Gold’, ‘I Hope’ and ‘Nothing’s Real But Love’, she has been lauded by critics, with The Telegraph declaring her ‘The same league as Aretha Franklin’, and the Guardian stating that ‘Her talent is undeniable’; whilst Ferguson has also been nominated for MOBO and MTV Europe Music Awards.
Her last album, Heaven Part II, was released at the end of 2023 and by early 2024 had already been a BBC Radio 2 Album of the Week.
