Love the Drop Inn usually but this was false advertising at its finest. Said game would be played on  'big projector screen', turned up to see a small plasma being rolled out like school in the early 2000's. Pathetic, most people realised this and left. Claimed my free drink and went next door to Deadwax for an decent-sized actual flatscreen projector....FOR FREE. 

Please do not deliberately deceive your punters again!

Review of England VS Argentina at The Drop Inn Digbeth

Really disappointed with this event. It was advertised as showing the football on a projector, but when we arrived there was only a small TV on a stand. The projector was one of the main reasons we booked, so this felt misleading. We genuinely have a better setup at home, so there was no reason to stay.

For such a large event space, it was surprisingly empty, meaning there was virtually no atmosphere for such a big match. The seating consisted of tired, worn sofas that looked well past their best, and having such a small TV in such a large room made the whole setup feel underwhelming. Several drinks weren't available, and the beer tasted watered down. To top it off, there was a child skateboarding around the venue on their stomach, which made the whole event feel chaotic and poorly managed.

We walked in, realised it wasn't what had been advertised or what we were expecting, and left almost immediately to watch the match elsewhere. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I hope future events are advertised more accurately.
