StillMarillion: Farewell to ’26 Tour
Recreating the legendary "Farewell to ’86" Barrowland set — 40 years on
Widely recognized as Europe’s premier tribute to the classic EMI era of Marillion, StillMarillion return to the stage for a spectacular trio of December shows. Fronted by Martin Jakubski—whose authentic powerhouse vocals have also seen him share the stage as the lead singer for Marillion’s own Steve Rothery Band—StillMarillion deliver the intense passion, complex instrumentation, and theatrical drama of early Marillion with unmatched accuracy.
This December, the band is taking fans on a nostalgic journey back to a defining moment in progressive rock history: Marillion's legendary Farewell to ’86 performance at the iconic Glasgow Barrowlands. Originally marking the end of the monumental Misplaced Childhood era, the original 1986 shows are cemented in fan folklore for their sheer emotion, energy, and a setlist packed with era-defining masterpieces.
Now, exactly 40 years on, StillMarillion are bringing that historic Barrowlands atmosphere back to life. Fans can expect an unforgettable, high-energy set featuring the landmark hits like Kayleigh and Lavender, alongside sweeping epics from Script for a Jester's Tear, Fugazi, and Misplaced Childhood.
