Fiat Lux
Fiat Lux have enjoyed an incredible renaissance since they reformed.
Their "comeback" single "It's You" was voted one of the "Best Songs Of The Decade" by The Electricity Club; Universal Music digitally re-released all their Polydor 80's back catalogue following the success of the remake "Secrets 2017" and Cherry Red Records made a well selling retrospective CD boxset of their Polydor years: "Hired History Plus".
The latest album on 9 x 9 records "Desire & Belief" follows up their recent studio LPs "Saved Symmetry" and "Twisted Culture" (No12 in The Electric Cafe's Best Of 2021). Expect excerpts from them, plus a hearty helping of their 80's classics.
Promenade Cinema
Promenade Cinema create cinematic synthpop with dark allure and melodic intensity. Lush synths and compelling vocals build songs that stay with you long after they end. Their music draws you into a world of shadow and splendour, where emotion and atmosphere take centre stage.
Refined, evocative, and unforgettable.
HaHa Hats
Drawing inspiration from the Ian Dury, Gary Numan, and a touch of Nick Cave, their songs combine quirky storytelling, vintage synths, and unpredictable energy.
HaHa Hats have spent years crafting their distinctive sound from a homemade shed studio. With five albums, five EPs, and six new singles from the Lost Poperty series, the band continues to grow its audience and reputation.
Their live shows are equally unpredictable, featuring a rotating cast of guest musicians and a healthy dose of creative chaos. With HaHa Hats, every performance is a surprise-and that's exactly the point!
