Rooted is a new intimate acoustic series from Neighbourhd (NBHD), created for people who want something calmer, closer and more intentional than a traditional gig night.

Rooted exists to connect Birmingham’s artists, audiences and independent spaces in one wraparound experience — a space to unplug, connect and really listen.

Each session is intentionally small and uniquely curated, hosted in the kinds of venues you don’t expect to find live music. Think cafés, galleries and independent spaces across the city.

What to expect:

• 2 acoustic performances from carefully selected local artists
• 1 DJ holding the atmosphere between sets (low-volume, soulful selections)
• a hosted, experience-led flow (not a standard gig format)
• visual touches and light styling to transform the space
• interactive elements designed to help the room connect

This is stripped-back live music, unapologetically local — built for people who want to feel the music, meet the community, and leave refreshed.
