Join us in the cosy Victorian surroundings of The Anchor Digbeth on Tuesday 27th October as we celebrate our 1-Year Anniversary Week with an intimate Guided Wine Tasting and Cheese Board Evening.

Showcasing four fabulous wines from our newly revamped wine menu, our guided flight opens with a celebratory glass of Taittinger Nocturne Champagne, followed by a vibrant Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, a silky Pinot Noir, and an oak-aged Reserva Rioja.

WINE FLIGHT (INCLUDED WITH TICKET):
• Taittinger Nocturne Champagne — Smooth, expressive Sec Champagne with delicate stone fruit, brioche warmth, and a crisp celebratory finish.
• Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc — Aromatic New World white bursting with gooseberry, citrus zest, and bright mineral freshness.
• Classic Pinot Noir — Supple red-berry elegance with gentle tannins chosen to complement soft and rinded cheeses.
• Reserva Rioja — Mature Spanish Tempranillo offering warm vanilla spice, dark cherry richness, and savoury depth.

Each wine is paired with four carefully selected cheeses. Alongside our classic dairy selection, we are proud to serve what might very well be Digbeth’s first dedicated Vegan Cheese Board! Simply select your preferred board ticket type (Standard Dairy or Vegan) when booking.

Throughout the week of celebrations, guests can also enjoy our special edition Anchor × Shabab’s ‘Cheese & Onion Bhaji’ crusty cob at the bar and cast their pint votes in our Halloween & Samhain Pumpkin Competition.
