Jagz Kooner is a Record Producer / Remixer who has been credited with creating some of the most genre defining songs of the last 35 Years. He began his career working with Andrew Weatherall remixing and producing for the likes of Future Sound Of London, Bjork, New Order & The Chemical Brothers before forming the seminal band Sabres Of Paradise. He was also a founder member of The Aloof and was responsible for Co-writing, producing & mixing the albums "Cover The Crime" and "Sinking". After the bands split Jagz was asked by Primal Scream to produce "Swastika Eyes" and work on their groundbreaking album "XTRMNTR" this led to him being asked to remix & produce for a huge number of artists under his own name, including Kasabian, Oasis, The Prodigy, Killing Joke, Garbage, Massive Attack as well as a host of leftfield artists such as Royal Trux, Soulwax, Deus, The Kills & Rammstein. His longstanding relationship with Primal Scream also saw him produce "Miss Lucifer" for their album " EVIL HEAT" as well as the cult dance classic "Some Velvet Morning" which featured Kate Moss on vocals. Jagz album productions also include Reverend & The Makers "The State Of Things" & " A French Kiss In The Chaos" which both scored a top5 uk album position. Jagz also mixed the Dandy Warhols album "ROCKMAKER" which features guest performances from Debbie Harry, Slash & Frank Black. More recently he has been in the studio producing and mixing songs for the debut album from the hotly tipped Holy Youth Movement. He also produced and mixed the eagerly awaited new single by The Inspiral Carpets " Drag The Bag" which has received rave reviews and been made Single of The Week on a few National Radio Stations. He has also reformed The Sabres Of Paradise ( with the original live band line up ) and they have been playing live at various festivals and clubs. Jagz production style has been described as "electronic rock n roll" due to his ability to fuse electronics within traditional band set-ups.
