What’s happening

We're bringing an all-request line dance social to Birmingham's hottest new dive bar - a true Saturday night party for line dancers chasing that US "bar-style" vibe!

Expect neon lights, flowing drinks, great music and a dancefloor buzzing with energy. Hosted by Honkytonk Highway from 7.00pm until 11.30pm, with the resident DJ taking over afterwards and keeping the party going late into the night.

And this time, we're adding something brand new...

⭐ MINI STOMP – A MINI LINE DANCE COMPETITION! ⭐

Fancy giving competition a go without committing to a full-scale competition? Mini Stomp is our condensed, low-pressure competition format, taking place right in the middle of our regular social.

The dancefloor will pause at 9.00pm while our competitors take the floor for two full songs, danced back-to-back. Social dancers will be asked to circle the dancefloor, cheer on the competitors and give them plenty of support!

Once the two dances are finished, the social will return while the judges confirm the results, with awards at approximately 10.00pm.

The first Mini Stomp dances are:

Competition basics

• £5 competitor entry, paid via PayPal on the night
• Registration: 6.45pm – 7.30pm, or until all spaces are filled
• Competitors must also have a valid dancefloor wristband booked through Skiddle
• A quick digital registration form will be completed at the registration desk
• You'll receive your competitor bib number and allocated dancefloor spot
• Both full songs will be danced
• Competitors will be judged on their overall performance across both dances
• 1st, 2nd & 3rd place will be awarded by the judges, with each receiving a medal and certificate
• All competitors must be 18+

Mini STOMP is designed to be low-pressure, fun and accessible - whether you're looking to dip your toe into competition for the first time or simply want some extra practice before STOMP IT OUT 2 at Low Places in January 2027.

Who is this for?

🤠 THE SOCIAL

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced dancer, you're welcome on the social dancefloor.

There will be no formal teaching — this is a social, not a class — but we'll be playing all-level requests throughout the night, from beginner-friendly favourites through to more challenging dances.

Come to dance, meet people, request your favourites, grab a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.

🏆 MINI STOMP

Mini Stomp is for anyone who fancies trying competition in a fun, condensed format.

You don't need to be a seasoned competitor. If you've been thinking about entering a competition but aren't quite ready to commit to a full event, this is a great place to start.

It's also a chance for more experienced dancers to test themselves, perform in front of judges and get some competition practice ahead of STOMP IT OUT 2 in January.

Two songs. One dancefloor. No complicated heats or finals. Just get out there and dance!

Useful info

• Wear comfortable clothes - it gets hot when dancing!
• Cowboy boots encouraged but not required; th floor is slippy
• Great bar & friendly staff, sports on TV
• Pizza & Hot Dogs available
• Car parks & on-street parking nearby

• Your E-ticket is proof of your entry. Please have it ready to claim your wristband.
• Tickets are non-refundable.
• All attendees must be 18+. Children and babies are not permitted.
• Mini STOMP competitors must also be 18+.
• By participating you agree to photos/videos being taken for social media and promotional use.
• We are not liable for injuries - dance at your own risk!
• Shoes must be worn at all times on the dancefloor.
• Mini STOMP entry is separate from your dancefloor wristband. All competitors must have a valid wristband booked through Skiddle.
• Competition spaces are limited. Registration is first come, first served and closes at 7.30pm or when all spaces are filled.
