A Jim of all trades. Jim Bob is the author of six published novels and two memoirs – ‘Goodnight Jim Bob – On The Road With Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine’ and the sequel ‘Jim Bob from Carter’.

In 2024 Cherry Red Books published the first ever book of Jim Bob lyrics – ‘Where Songs Come From’, a beautiful full colour coffee table book of songs that turned out to be Jim’s most confessional work to date. Jim Bob’s last three albums, ‘Pop Up Jim Bob’, ‘Who Do We Hate Today’ and ‘Thanks for Reaching Out’ were wall top forty smashes, his ‘Beach Ready Ep’ was Number 1 in both the Vinyl and Physical sales Singles charts. Jim Bob’s latest albums Automatic and Stick were both released into the UK independent chart top 5 on the same day in August of 2025. He continues to tour, with a full and amazing band, performing a mix of solo and Carter USM songs to rave audience reviews. Boom.
