The Other Side of Black: BLUEPRINT Exhibition
Step inside a fully‑immersive environment across two creative nights. The venue becomes a raw, unfinished world made from cartridge paper, covered in loose line work that invites the community to interact with the installation design. A place to leave messages, poems, polaroids and tiny sketches.
The launch night of the 2 day exhibition, dedicated to some incredible Black and local visual artists responding to the theme. Expect:
Curated exhibition of original artwork
Pop‑up stalls selling prints, merch and small pieces
Panel Artist Q&A
A public feedback wall
This night we recognize our diasporic poets, vocalists and musicians, while they explore Blueprint through their own sonic languages. Featuring:
A set lineup of Spoken Word Artists
Live Musical performances from Birmingham's own
Open Mic Hour
This night your voice becomes a sketchbook entry in this exhibition - a performance woven directly into the space.
Thank you for stepping into this world with us.
Thank you for bringing your vision, your voice, your imagination.
This exhibition honours beginnings - and you are part of the architecture.
