Strapped

Strapped invites you to experience an unforgettable night celebrating leather culture, queer community, and self-expression. The dance floor is reserved for gays, theys, and respectful allies who understand and value the space we create together.

Our mission is to cultivate and celebrate leather culture while championing both established and emerging artists, DJs, and performers. We want everyone who attends to feel safe, respected, liberated, and free to express themselves.

Strapped is a celebration of leather pride, underground music, and Belfast's exceptional leather community. While Strapped is a gay-centred space, everyone is welcome provided they respect the culture, the community, and the people around them.

Strapped Rules

Entry-

Strapped is a 19+ event.

All guests must present valid government-issued photo ID upon entry.

Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Entry is at the discretion of Strapped, welfare and venue security.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who appears intoxicated or whose behaviour may compromise the safety or enjoyment of others.

Dress Code-

It's a leather night...

Leather, rubber, sportswear, uniforms, fetish wear, and other respectful expressions of kink culture are strongly encouraged. Streetwear is welcome too, but we encourage everyone to embrace the spirit of the night. Please note that there are no changing facilities at the venue.

Phones & Photography-

Photography and videography are strictly prohibited throughout the event.

Phones will be stickered upon entry. Removing or tampering with the sticker, or taking photographs or videos anywhere in the venue, may result in immediate removal from the event and a ban from future Strapped events. Please enjoy the music and be present. Keep phones away and save long catchups for outside the dance floor so everyone can enjoy the space.

Respect & Consent-

Respect is at the heart of Strapped.

Consent is required everywhere at the event-not just in the darkroom. Always ask before touching someone or their gear. Consent must be clear, enthusiastic, and ongoing, and it can be withdrawn at any time. "No" is a complete sentence.

We have zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, racism, transphobia, misogyny, body shaming, or unwanted touching. Anyone engaging in behaviour that makes others feel unsafe may be removed from the event and banned from future parties.

If someone makes you feel uncomfortable, or you witness behaviour that concerns you, please speak to our welfare officer, promoters, security, or any member of staff. We're here to help.

Welfare

Please remember to stay hydrated. Free drinking water is available at all bars, and bottled water is available to purchase. We encourage responsible drinking and reserve the right to refuse admission or service to anyone who appears intoxicated.

If you feel unwell or need support for any reason, please speak to our welfare officer, promoters, security, or venue staff. Your wellbeing is our priority.

The Darkroom

The Strapped Darkroom is intended to be a fun, respectful, and safe environment.

Everyone must obtain clear, enthusiastic consent before interacting with anyone in the darkroom. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. No phones or cameras are permitted in the darkroom under any circumstances. Breaching this rule will result in immediate removal from the event and may result in a permanent ban from both Strapped and the venue.

Please respect the space, practise safer sex where appropriate, and dispose of any used condoms, gloves, wipes, or other items responsibly. Entry to the darkroom will be refused if you appear too intoxicated or unable to respect the space and the people within it.

General

Strapped is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by these house rules, along with any venue policies. Strapped reserves the right to control admission and remove anyone whose behaviour compromises the safety, wellbeing, or enjoyment of others.
