More Than a Woman’s Heart – A Special Evening of Music and Fundraising
Join us at St Joseph’s Parish Hall, Dunloy, on Saturday 7th November at 7.30pm for an uplifting evening of music, friendship and community spirit, with all proceeds going to Ciara’s School in Tanzania.
Inspired by the legendary 1990s album A Woman’s Heart, this concert celebrates a collection of songs that captured the strength, soul and spirit of Irish women—and music that has truly stood the test of time.
The Gribbin Girls (Edel & Clodagh), Eimhear Mulholland, Leona Campbell and Paula Gribbin bring these much-loved songs to life through beautiful harmonies, accomplished musicianship and heartfelt performances. Whether you have treasured this music for years or are discovering it for the first time, come along and enjoy a memorable evening in great company.
The concert also supports a cause with a moving story. Ciara’s School, known as St Mary’s Ciara’s School, was built in memory of Ciara McLaughlin, who tragically died aged 17 shortly before she was due to volunteer in Tanzania. Her wish to make a difference lives on through the school, where children have been given the opportunity to receive an education in her name. Read more about the school’s story.
By joining us, you will help raise funds for the school and support the continuation of Ciara’s legacy. Bring your friends and family for a special night of music with a meaningful purpose.
