In the mid-80s UK's Wiltshire-based punk bands Subhumans, Organised Chaos and AHeads all called it a day, and members of each got to create Culture Shock- who brought a refreshing original blend of reggae-driven bass, rollercoasting drums and punked-up ska guitar to an alternative scene that welcomed their original combination of danceable tunes and socially aware lyrics. Two hundred gigs and three albums later, they called it a day.
Twenty-three years on, in 2012, following the release of their 'Everything' CD box set, and with fans continually asking to hear the songs live again, previous members Dick, Jasper and Bill got together with Alex on guitar - carrying on the spirit of Nige, who sadly passed on in 93 - and carried on where they left off, with 3 more albums ['Attention Span', 'Humanity Show' and 'Mandemic'] and a consistent trail of sold-out gigs, including a US tour with World Inferno Friendship Society and several UK festivals. See you down the front!
