Scottish punk legends The Skids are set to return to the iconic Ayr Pavilion for the first time since December 1980, bringing one of Scotland’s most influential bands back to Ayrshire’s historic seafront stage after almost 46 years.
Fronted by Richard Jobson, The Skids remain one of the most powerful and celebrated live acts to emerge from Scotland, with anthems including Into The Valley, The Saints Are Coming, Working For The Yankee Dollar, Masquerade and Charade continuing to inspire generations of music fans.
Joining them for this very special show will be post-punk pioneers Theatre of Hate. Led by the legendary Kirk Brandon, Theatre of Hate helped define the sound of the early 1980s with their dramatic live performances and classic tracks including Do You Believe In The Westworld?
The concert marks another major milestone in the return of live rock music to the Ayr Pavilion and promises a night packed with energy, nostalgia and unforgettable songs from two era-defining bands.
With strong interest expected from music fans across Scotland and beyond, early booking is strongly recommended for what is certain to be a landmark night at one of Scotland’s great historic venues.
