A brand new ice skating rink is coming to Leicester Square in London this winter.

For the first time, from 1st November 2025 to 4th January 2026, the rink will be right in the middle of Leicester Square, amid the seasonal market stalls.

Underbelly, which has been the creative force behind Christmas in Leicester Square for nine years, bring the rink to the square, allowing people to skate in 45-minute sessions between 10am and 10pm, with new sessions starting every 15 minutes.

The rink will be brought to life with Christmas lights, music, and activities for all ages. After skating, people can keep warm with a hot chocolate, mulled wine, or mulled cider at the bar.

When booking your slot to skate online, you’ll have the opportunity to support the Angel Child Fund, part of The Brain Tumour Charity, at checkout.

Full price tickets are £21.50 with tickets for under 12s at £14.50. Family tickets, which cover four people (2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children), are £62. Skate hire is included in the price of a ticket.

Wheelchair users are welcome on the rink.

Skate aids will be available for younger children and can be purchased on arrival.
