When was the last time you played in Manchester?

I think it was last year and I remember it was Monday, as I know I felt strange because of the day. Mostly parties around the world are before weekend, not after. But it was totally mental. I had great time. I love the party crowd in Manchester, probably one of the craziest in the world.

Venus is well knows for its vocal house music, and your track 'Why Don't You' is played a lot. Do you still love the track as much as we do?

I'm super excited to hear that people still love WDY. Of course I love the track, it made everything that I am at this moment. I still love to play it from time to time but I gathered some remixes people send me from all around the world and that's how it never bores me. At the moment I love to play Blacksoul remix.

What has 2012 held for you so far?

I did few new tracks and remixes. I also started experimenting with some different sound, I'll see if people will dig that. Also I travelled to Indonesia again and it was fun as I used that trip for my honeymoon.

Who is your favourite DJ in the world right now?

I have few actually, there will always be Derrick Carter, DJ HYPE, DJ Mes, Mark Farina and Tommy Largo that are best out there for me, but I do love some new ones I had chance to hear like Ramon Tapia and Mark Funk.

Tell us what happens in a normal day in the life of superstar DJ Gramophonedzie?

Regular things DJs do, you know, some yachting during the day, naked girls, fast cars, powder, like on hiphop videos but in realtime and a bit better. As they have only private jets and stuff, I have a private train, the next level baby! You know what I'm sayin' (laughs). Actually it's pretty boring. I wake up, walk the dogs, chill with my lovely wife then work in the studio, and later some more paperwork and again some visa work as I'm from Serbia and it's hell for me to get Visas, especially for Canada or States.

What is the track of the Summer in your DJ bag?

There are few at the moment. Rewire 'Jackin Up', Mark Funk 'Superboogie', Rivastarr & Ramon Tapia 'Freedom'...

And finally, what is your number 1 track of all time? It doesn't need to be a house track...

Michael Jackson 'Can't Stop 'Till You Get Enough' - and I still play it almost every time.
