Rounding off an eventful year and welcoming the new one with sweaty faces, mono_cult's annual NYD party has become something on an institution.

January 1st sees the Leeds based clubbing crew return to The Faversham with an all-star NYD line-up of Henrik Schwarz, Jackmaster, Mano Le Tough, Krystal Klear, Bicep and Lauer.

Henrik Schwarz (Innervisions) drops in for a very rare and long overdue LIVE performance. Henrik recently graced RA's Top 5 Live Acts in the world, and along with good friends Ame and Dixon, has been responsible for shaping the mono_cult sound as it is today.

Glaswegian record sniffer and Numbers disciple Jackmaster is next. Alongside digital upstarts Hudson Mohawke, Rustie and The Revenge, Jackmaster has cemented himself as one of the fast rising Scottish mixers and hell raisers pushing the scene with eclectic, musically-conscious DJ sets infusing House, R&B, Pop-Prince and video games samples, straddling the goal posts of dance music while keeping one toe dipped in the classic formula, all the more obvious listening to his naughty-Number Fabric Live 57 mix.

The luck of the Irish has had a huge influence on the next few headliners as mono_cult let loose Permanent Vacation’s Mano Le Tough. Mano has been remixing - and been - remixed by many artists including Aloe Blacc, Midnight Magic, Flowers and Sea Creatures, Tensnake, Chateau Flight and Azari & III – not forgetting the huge summer anthem, Baby Lets Love.

Dublin’s Red Bull Academy graduate Krystal Klear has been making music his whole life - at first inspired by Hardcore Punk and Metal, morphing into Boogie, Funk and Hip-Hop - the beginnings of his KK Moniker. The now Manchester resident has been named by FACT and Juno as ‘One to watch’, signed to tastemakers Eglo Records, and collaborated with artists as diverse as Oliver DaySoul, Skream and Hudson Mohawke. Playing everything from modern boomtown to Chicago House and Anita Baker, Krystal Klear makes his mono_cult debut this NYD.

Belfast Boyzies Bicep make a mono_cult debut after what has been a big year for the bench-pressing duo. Catching the underground eye with their now essential Feel My Bicep blog and label of the same name, the pair have been slowly breaking through the glass ceiling with releases on Aus Music, Let’s Play House, Tamed ,Wolf Music and Love Fever – the latter home to the huge Haus Bomb, Stripper. A recent appearance on Tim Sweeney’s Beats in Space radio show and the Fabric Birthday session has essential cemented Bicep as a force to be reckoned with.

Last but not least is Lauer. Probably best known for being one half of acclaimed duo Arto Mwambe, or as Chicago house-influenced Tuff City Kids with Running Back boss Gerd Janson, Lauer's solo work has begun to outshine them all with past EPs on Permanent Vacation and Live At Robert Johnson, including remixes for the likes of Spectral Sound, Sonar Kollektiv and BPitch Control. His upbeat house stroking the hair of disco flair will provide the perfect soundtrack to welcome in the New Year.
