A new book features various articles from the 1980s written by UK club culture journalist James Hamilton.
James Hamilton’s Dance Pages 1983-1989 features over 800 pages of documentation of the seven-year period that saw the emergence of house, techno, hi-NRG, and hip-hop music.
It includes almost 7,000 record reviews, monthly and annual charts, and rolling news about the clubs and DJs of the era, plus an introduction by DJs Pete Tong and Greg Wilson.
Dance Pages is the companion book to Hamilton's Disco Pages 1975-1982.
