From Boomtown to Brandsby!
After a sellout album launch at the Great Yorkshire Fringe in York on Saturday 5th August , Ruth and Conrad, who grew up locally, are delighted to be returning with their 7 piece band and its ever increasing international fan base, to Brandsby Village Hall on 19th August. Following their Grand Tour of Italy, Holy Moly are breaking their festival filled summer (including performances at Bestival, Camp Bestival and Boomtown Fair) to play locally by request.
The band have built themselves an enviable reputation, pulling packed houses for their ferocious, visceral live shows, and now they are heading into heavier, gutsier waters with their new album Salem:
?there are some glorious songs on here that really grab you by the throat and pull you in?The energy of their new material makes this band look more and more like one to catch live? Americana UK.
They will be joined by local heroes Boss Caine (York) and Paul Judge (Ampleforth).
Paul Judge has built a reputation as an outstanding musician and skillful songwriter, with an innovative slide guitar style. Effortlessly weaving fluid melodic lines over driving rhythms and creating subtle and beautiful soundscapes, he features imaginative interpretations of classic blues alongside his own memorable and stylish compositions.
