Yes! ROCK THE EMBASSY lands bringing with it a mouth watering array of DJs and live acts that are rocking radio waves and dance floors everywhere right now.
Heading up the main room and making a highly anticipated return to Bangor is a DJ that needs no introduction other than ZANE LOWE theaward winning Radio 1 presenter has one of the most diverse music tastes in the business a style and sound that has made him a phenomenal force behind the decks and given him iconic status with music fans and artists all over the world. If youve never experienced the live DJ set from ZANE LOWE youve simply missed out.
Also rocking the main stage will be three of the finest drum & bass tastemakers on the planet DRUMSOUND & BASSLINE SMITH. A band formed in Derby over a decade ago have been behind a string of influential tracks that have help shape the drum & bass scene today, even enjoying UK top 40 success with releases Odyssey and Close. This is a North Wales debut for the band so expect the foundations to literally shake.
If that wasnt enough to get your musical taste buds going we have another debut this time from UNION. The London based duo, are behind a new wave of artistes that simply refuse to be restricted by genre. They represent bass driven electronic music in all the unique forms in which it currently
dominates dance floors and airwaves across the globe, from dubstep to electro to drum and bass and techno.
Completing the proceedings on the main stage is local hero JAY ROBINSON the North Wales based artist has been making a serious impact with a whole host of floor fillers under his belt. His productions have been picked up by high flying DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Kissy Sell Out and Annie Mac to name just a few. 2012 has started with a bang for the young producer with forthcoming remixes for Laidback Luke, Ministry Of Sound and Krafty Kutz and a guest mix and interview for the Jen Long show on Radio 1
Room 2 will be hosted by the hugely popular ROCK THE residents they are Mixmag Future Hero ED MACKIE and Bass Instincts ADS LEHANE. With no policy set in stone expect a mash up of upfront house, techno, electro, dubstep, drum & bass and alternative for you to enjoy all night long.
