The Winachi Tribe release their debut EP ?Time For Love? on 28th august on A1M records, this new recording sees them collaborate with, Julie E Gordon, Inder Goldfinger and an exceptional band of musicians and producers who have performed, and toured with artists as diverse as Ian Brown, Black Grape, Happy Mondays, Massive Attack & The Stereo MCs. , They bring urban swagger, soul and funk, effortlessly together on a cracking debut EP. The band have taken the best bits of a handful of genres, melted the lot together to create something brand new and pretty much unlike anything else out right now. In a day and age when the top 40 is made up of ?pop music by numbers? the electro-funk groove of the Winachi Tribe will put a smile on your face and a swing in your hips.

Imagine the psychedelic Funk of George Clinton oozing with the brooding menace of Massive Attack? imagine, urban soul, swagger, rolling hypnotic beats and groove fueled nights at the Hacienda, meshed with the vision and flow of Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, a sonic soul collective who adhere to no boundaries or formulas, either musically or culturally. Well that band is now a reality: the lyrically explosive, musically eclectic, Electro Funk Hybrid known as The Winachi Tribe. Time for Love Single Sound cloud Link
