Win a DJ set at Ushuaia Ibiza in ANTS’ DJ competition

ANTS Ibiza, one of Ibiza’s best-loved underground parties, is joining forces with Beatport to hold a house/techno competition to find the next generation of DJ talent. Prizes include a performance at Ushuaia Ibiza and expert career mentorship. 

This year, ANTS is celebrating 10 years of hosting some of the hottest underground events with a focus on cutting-edge talent and immersive production on the party island. To celebrate its anniversary, they’re holding a competition to find a killer DJ who’ll take to the decks at the legendary club Ushuaia in Ibiza, where ANTS takes its residency every Saturday from 6th May to 30th September this year. 

The winner of the ANTS: NEXT GEN competition will get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform at Ushuaia Ibiza and ANTS ON TOUR, career mentorship, a production masterclass with an ANTS resident DJ, a digital audit from the ANTS marketing team, an ANTS playlist takeover, a guest mix on ANTS Radio, DJing essentials including Pioneer HDJ-X10 headphones, and more. 

The competition will be judged by a panel of industry experts and leading DJs including ANTS residents Nic Fanciulli, Andrea Oliva, Chelina Manuhutu, SYREETA, Francisco Allendes, the CEO and founder of Ushuaia, Hi, The Night League, and ANTS, and the booking manager for those clubs, events, and companies.

To enter the competition, house and techno DJs must put together a 30-minute mix in line with the ANTS sound and upload it to Soundcloud before midnight on Monday the 8th of May, following the guidelines on the ANTS website. Mixes will be evaluated on the number of listens, likes, and evaluations from the judging panel. 

The top ten entries will be announced on Wednesday the 17th of May, before the ultimate winner is announced on Wednesday the 31st of May.
