Bonfire Night is a lovely, wholesome celebration, despite its origins. We eat and enjoy fairground rides before strapping in for jaw-dropping fireworks displays that leave us oohing and aahing beside a toasty bonfire.

But unfortunately, Hackney, Lewisham, and many other areas have called off fireworks displays this year. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t any! To help you decide how you’ll be spending this Bonfire Night, we’ve compiled a list of some cracking East London bonfire events for you to consider. Check them out!

But if you’re the kind that jumps at the loud bangs, head over a little later to enjoy the views of fireworks across the city from the venue’s outdoor space. Then go inside for the Faded party with DJs spinning hip hop, RnB, afrobeat, and bashment tunes. It is a Saturday, after all - you might as well hit the dancefloor!
