In 2016, London is now home to two summer party institutions; Brunch, and Boat Parties. Party kings, 1 Big Night Out, and Wicked Student Nights have come together to create Pier Pressure, which claims to be London's Craziest Boat Party and returns for it's second year, of monthly maritime mayhem. We got on board, and found out what it was all about.

Pier Pressure boats set sail for a Voyage down the London Thames. There's 2 Floors of Music, ranging from hand-picked, upcoming house DJs & live party bands playing classic-rock ?pirate party anthems?. The DJs are mostly residents at London's biggest weekly house music night ?SNEAK? so tunes are popping off on the dance-floor, heads bobbing up and down as the boat passes some of London's most iconic sights.

As the party gets going, with Pier Pressure reps getting people revved up and playing games. A 20 ft beer bong is unveiled from the top deck, and draped all the way down to the bow of the ship. Brave sailors take turns to drink from the beer bong, which the crew have labelled as ?Long Bong Jovi?. You can get papped by the photographers and videographers, who snap around with signs of ?I like your style buoy!? and some more salty pirate phrases. At the end of a party, there's always a tons of great photos and an after-video to give a much-needed reminder of what happened on board.

Parties continue off the boat at a secret after party venue, and continue into the early morning. Previous after-parties have included big super-clubs Ministry of Sound and Pacha, as well as just nearby bars that the Pier Pressure crew escort you to in their sailor hats.

So get on board, and find out what's causing waves in the river thames, get onto the next Pier Pressure Boat party via www.PierPressure.London ? Their boats run on the last Saturday or Bank holiday Sunday or each month throughout the summer.

If you've got the ticket, then make sure you arrive on time ? Don?t be late, as the boat won?t wait!

Bon voyage!
