I am a broken man; 24 hours in Ibiza has set my evolutionary clock back a decade. Someone send me serotonin fast please.

Clubs

It's been a huge week for club announcements. Circus and Ministry of Sound revealed their birthday plans, The Rainbow Venues unveiled a new series called Imaginarium and things are hotting up in Scotland with Love Action and Nightvision both releasing line up news.

We also chatted to Baltimore house legend DJ Spen and Cocoon favourite Frank Lorber, as well as launching our brand new feature series on resident DJs with Secretsundaze's Giles Smith. On top of all that we received a slamming mix from My Digital Enemy. Oh, and if you're without bank holiday plans, check out our competition for weekend passes for Freeze and mUmU's double header (see below).

Festivals

There's still some gems yet to come so we picked five acts you need to see at next month's Mint Festival, spoke to Dave Haslam ahead of Vintage By The Sea and quizzed Jane Weaver before Festival Number 6.

Plus we took a look at what to expect from Reminisce and Gig In The Gardens and reviewed the action at this year's Groove Festival

Live Music

It's been UK tours aplenty, with The Kooks, The Courteeners and Public Enemy announcing their upcoming dates. We also caught up with dynamic alt-rock group Kagoule ahead of their album release, and iconic rapper Talib Kweli.

That's me done, hopefully this time next week joy will have returned to my life. Pray for me.
