Unlocking Ipswich’s Live Music Potential

Irresistible Entertainment Inc. is a small and growing events management company based in Ipswich with big ambitions to become the leading events management company in the UK within the next ten years. How do they intend to do this? Well, since launching last September with just little money or contacts in the industry and a lot of heart they have embarked on trying to unlock the live music potential within Ipswich by giving young talented bands, and musicians a platform to showcase their skills and build their fan base. Fast Forward to 2014 and they currently work with a number of venues which include the all new Bear?s Boutique Bar and Grill Ipswich, the popular No.16 Bar and Kitchen and the university based Theta Café. They have also just recently joined up with one Ipswich?s most loved live music venue PJ McGinty & Sons and are hoping to add more new venues to their growing roster.

The crew at Irresistible Entertainment is passionate about their events and has embarked on an exciting journey to try and help Ipswich find its live music potential. Having already worked with some great bands which include the 4130?s, The TickTurds, Yak Attack, Lost Lungs, Moon Street, Sink or Swim and many other great acts they are hoping to help make Ipswich one of the leading live music events circuit in Suffolk. They have also recently just launched ?The Ipswich and Suffolk Music Network? to help local bands and musicians network, promote albums, singles, tour dates and more. Currently I.E. Acoustic Monday?s at Bear?s Boutique Bar and Grill Ipswich: Their acoustic Monday?s are held on the last Monday of each month and consists of an array of different types of acoustic musicians. On their launch night they were headlined by the fantastic Sophie Jill who was accompanied by David Nevard and supported by Lauren Dixon, James Nunn, Fern Teather and Meg Burrows. Their next acoustic Monday is on 28/4/2014 will be headlined by the talented Cherise Philips who will be supported by Curtis Garett (Thoughts of Flight), Lauren Brickwood and the acoustic duo consisting of George Edwards and Sam Washington.

Rap City at Bear?s Boutique Bar and Grill Ipswich: Rap City is all about helping young up and coming as well as established emcees from Ipswich have a platform to perform and promote their forthcoming albums and singles. The first rap city event which will be on the 31/3/2014 and there will be five of Ipswich?s top emcees with headline act Just Call Me Kel performing on his birthday. He will be supported by Velly, Profound, Futuree and Waltzz.

Friday Night Live: Friday Night live is based around working with up and coming as well as established bands from Ipswich and Suffolk and their first Friday Night Live gig was held at No.16 Bar and Kitchen where they had three fantastic bands which were Lost Lungs, Hot Tramp and Solstice. Friday Night Live will continue this April at PJ McGinty & Sons with live music from Partially Tempted, Checks, Monticolombi and headline act Lost Lungs. Additionally in May PJ McGinty & Sons will be playing host again with live music from Moon Street, The Nameless UK, Vixation and headline act Bury The Ocean. Monday Madness at Bear?s Boutique Bar and Grill Ipswich: The crew at Irresistible Entertainment Inc. wanted to create a night which was completely unpredictable and changed from month to month. No madness event will ever be the same and with the untapped and unique musical talent that Ipswich has to offer it is fair to say that the crew will continue to surprise the locals from Ipswich and Suffolk area. Their next madness night will be next on 24/3/2014 will be headlined by the Ipswich based fisiti kuffs and supported by the nameless UK, the invisible monster and Sudbury based monticolombi.
