Timothée Chalamet goes viral in EsDeeKid 4 Raws collab

Timothée Chalamet finally puts EsDeeKid rumours to bed, joining the now world-famous scouse rap star in a viral remix of '4RAWS' while promoting his new film in the UK.

Arguably Hollywood's biggest name right now, Timothée Chalamet has officially ended the internet’s wildest speculation: No, he isn’t secretly living a double life as masked Liverpool rapper EsDeeKid. But the boy can rap. 

Fans have been obsessed with the resemblance between Chalamet’s eyes and those peeking out from EsDeeKid’s signature bandana. The actor even cheekily teased the rumours earlier this week with a mysterious “No comment… all in due time” when he was asked about the likeness in an interview with the BBC as part of his promo run for his latest film, Marty Supreme. Now, he’s set the record straight by appearing alongside EsDeeKid in a remix of the rapper’s top 40 hit '4 Raws'.

The music video kicks off with Chalamet mimicking EsDeeKid’s masked style before dropping the bandana and spitting some serious fire bars. The video, filmed at Andover Minimarket Off Licence in north London, quickly went viral, unsurprisingly, with fans and stars alike sharing their reactions. Even British rapper Central Cee was floored, posting a simple “Naaa” with laughing emojis, while Tinie Tempah declared, “Hahha this is sickkk." The clip has now been viewed more than 2.4 million since it was dropped on Saturday (20th December).
