Tickets on Sale: Porter Robinson 'Worlds' Tour hits KOKO London

At the mere age of 17, Porter Robinson was already busy making a name for himself both through his enormous productions and his headline slots at some of the biggest dance music festivals in the world, appearing alongside some of electronic music's most successful protagonists.

Now four years later, the gifted producer returns to release his debut album 'Worlds' on August 11th - a record that stands as a brave departure from his previous, more floor-focused work.

Choosing to dwell more on a cinematic, heartfelt experience, Porter's freshest excursions don't rely on set BPMs or heavy drops, making them sound more at home on a stage as opposed to the DJ booth (something he alluded to in our interview with him last year).

Recent single 'Lionhearted' (above) was the first to break out his reimagined sound, matching lush orchestral swells with widened synth lines, restrained vocals and low key beats, whilst still managing to pack an almighty punch. It was unsurprisingly named as Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World.

As part of European leg of his tour, Porter Robinson hits London's KOKO in association with Cream on October 30th for what will be his only UK date this year. It will give a unique chance to see 'Porter manipulating multi-tracks, triggering samples, playing midi keys and using controllers to create a fully-live affair' that is a world away from his previous appearances as a DJ.
