UK mega brand Godskitchen clock up twenty years of action with a birthday which celebrates their epochal status on the current clubbing climate. The crew behind the revered GlobalGathering festival will be marking two decades of scintillating rave action with a huge party, drawing on some of the most instrumental figures in their illustrious history.

They'll be taking over the Rainbow Complex in Birmingham on Saturday 28th September for a nine hour tour de force of trance, and headlining will be Paul Van Dyk, the genre's mainstay who is still one of the most reputable DJs on the planet with a career that spans over two decades.

His pioneering role in the formation of trance as it evolved from techno goes back to the very beginning, his work alongside the likes of Sven Vath helping shape what has since gone on the become one of the most pivotal and well loved disciplines of dance music the world has ever seen.

Joining him will be a European debut live performance of PURENRG, the new side project of trance superstars Solarstone and Giuseppe Ottivani, the two coming together after their previous stints as duos in the past. There's more live trance from psychedelic doyen John 00 Fleming, a DJ and producer who has been at the epicentre of Godskitchen's tunneling dancefloor dominance since the late nineties.
