Brutal bass and ghoulish grooves is the order of the day for this special Halloween event headed up by the Australian Beatsmiths.

If there’s a form of dance music that fits well with the nightmarish themes and blood-curdling frights that ruminate from horror films and Halloween, its dubstep. The full frontal bass, spine rupturing beats and face melting intensity at the heart of the more immediate end of the genre spectrum makes for a perfect alliance – even the speaker shredding synths are the closest thing to an electronic recreation of the frightening buzz of a chainsaw. So it’s no surprise that Knife Party, one of the most extreme and downright deafeningly delerious acts in the business, would choose the use the Haunted House for their tour ideology.

The group already boasted a live performances ethic equally as energetic, twisted and epic as their recordings, making their most recent concept a perfect way to increase the velocity - a cataclysmic combination of their dazzling live sets and awe-inspiring live performers, theatrics and lighting. They’ve taken the show on the road already as far afield as Miami, across the USA, Ibiza and Reading and Leeds Festival, embellishing and already top standard reputation for a next-level standard of live DJ shows. Now the show will be swinging through to London’s O2 Academy in Brixton, with support for their histrionics coming from Chicago trap masters Flosstradamus and the unstoppable Dillon Francis.

We now have tickets on sale for this show, which hits with a perfect sense of timing for the Saturday immediately after Halloween, enabling the horror theme to be ramped up to epic levels. Head here for further details, and in the meantime let this video get you in the mood…
