The world's only Happy Mondays tribute band are performing at The Kings Arms in Salford on Saturday 21st March.

The 'Madchester' era of the 1990's is clearly having a resurgence with bands such as The Inspiral Carpets and Northside recently reforming as well as 'The Hacienda' becoming a brand of club night which is selling out venues in Manchester and beyond.

This apparent thirst for the 'baggy' grooves that once made Manchester a music haven is what led Marc (aka Shaun Ryder) to form the world's first tribute to the pioneers of the scene.

Happy Mondaze are a full 6 piece band that include the fabulous Leanne as the soulful diva Rowetta and of course Peter, who is the spitting image of perhaps the most famous member of the band (Bez of course) shaking his maracas at the front!

They will be playing over an hour of Happy Mondays classics such as Hallelujah, Step on, WFL and many more

Doors open at 8pm and advanced tickets are £6
