The Angel Inn has just opened its doors on 90 Bold Street in Liverpool. The street is known for its vintage stores, restaurants and a few popular bars but has never had a pub. The Angel Inn is bringing traditional and Victorian-style architecture as the first pub on the street.
The building was formerly a family café called Maggie May’s which closed at the end of 2025. It's now been renovated with eccentric and bright architecture, fitting the aesthetics of Bold Street.
Describing themselves as ‘Bold Street’s first proper boozer’, the pub has eight cask ales, spirits and cocktails and three stouts with the majority sourced from local breweries. As well as live sports, they’ll also be serving traditional pub staples like pies, toasties, soup and crisps.
