Terminal V unveils new location Clydeside Live for landmark 10th anniversary

Scotland's biggest festival Terminal V has just announced its new home to celebate their 10th anniversary (Friday 4 to Sunday 6 June 2027). Set to take place in Glasgow’s historic docklands on the north bank of the River Clyde, Clydeside Live will mark the festival's first-ever three-day, fully outdoor edition. 

Since the announcement of their relocation from Edinburgh to Glasgow, Terminal V has kept their cards close to their chest when it came to where the next one would take place. Currently being developed for Terminal V, Clydeside Live will also become a new destination for live music and events in the city.

With the city’s industrial past still visible across the surrounding landscape, the waterfront site will provide a dramatic backdrop for Terminal V’s world-class electronic line-up. The outdoor transition provides Terminal V with its largest and most ambitious festival set-up to date from the ground up, with an entirely new main stage concept for Area V at the water’s edge. Plus renowned stages The Hangar and The Greenhouse to be reimagined for an outdoor setting. 

What once began as a 2,000-capacity, one-day event at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre has grown into one of the world’s leading electronic music festivals, and will mark the Glasgow edition a decade after Terminal V launched in 2017.

Derek Martin and Simon McGrath, Terminal V Founders, spoke about Terminal V's new home, saying, "Finding the right home for the next chapter of Terminal V was hugely important to us, and from the moment we saw this site we could see its potential. The scale, the riverside setting and the industrial landscape around it feel completely aligned with Terminal V and give us the freedom to create something we simply couldn’t have done before.
