Brooklyn rap don Talib Kweli is set to cross the Atlantic to deliver a lesson in hip hop this winter, with an sensational London show penned in the diary.
The Kanye West and Mos Def collaborator is in the capital city for a performance at Electric Brixton on Wednesday 7th November, where Kweli will journey through a back catalogue of brilliant bars and bass.
Alongside his work with Mos Def as Blackstar, Talib's solo career has been incredibly successful, releasing critically acclaimed debut solo album Quality in 2002 on Rawkus Records. From there Kweli was catapulted to musical fame, with his debut featuring a young and unknown rapper who now goes by the name of Kanye West.
As well as touring the world, managing his own label “Blacksmith Records” and being a strong social activist, Kweli is still writing and creating music and dropped his eighth studio album Radio Silence just last year.
