Liverpool is set to kick off Pride 2026 in standout fashion, with an impressive opening soiree planned to takeover the M&S Bank Arena on Friday 24th July.
Leading the first wave of announcements, chart-topping pop trio Sugababes will headline the night with a full greatest hits set, bringing their iconic catalogue to the city’s biggest Pride celebration yet. Joining them is Gossip vocalist and 6 Music presenter, Beth Ditto, making her Liverpool solo debut, alongside Tia Kofi and Bimini.
The line-up leans heavily into club culture too, with Horse Meat Disco bringing their signature disco energy, while Harrsn teams up with the House Gospel Choir for a euphoric live set.
Flying the flag for Liverpool’s local scene, hosts Tyler Daclaire, Debbie Darling and Pam Sandwich will guide the night, which opens with a specially curated Pride ceremony led by Debbie Darling, bringing together dozens of LGBTQ+ performers from across the city in a powerful celebration of community and identity.
The event marks the official launch of Liverpool Pride 2026, part of a wider weekend programme that will include the Pride March and a host of community-led events across the city. Delivered by Sahir House in partnership with the LCR Pride Foundation, this year’s Pride aims to be more inclusive, representative and community-driven than ever.
With global names, local icons and a strong focus on LGBTQ+ voices, this year’s opening party is shaping up to be an unmissable start to Pride weekend in Liverpool.
