With the weekend around the corner, we took time out to catch up with Matt Sassari from Potolbolo Records before his up n coming visit to UNDERLAND Manchester for Subplot Presents..

Subplot - Hi Matt, This is your first time in Manchester, Are you excited to be coming to play in the city given its rich history and influence within the house and techno scene?

Matt - Yeah I'm Really looking forward to this gig. I've never played on a VOID sound system and i hear the sound is amazing, the line up is perfect for this kind of party !!! I can't wait?.

Subplot - 2014 is shaping up to be a very successful year for your self with regards to releases and gigs, is there any personal track favourites or gigs that stand out?

Matt - About releases, i have a lot of upcoming tracks maybe even too much haha, but i'm really happy about my upcoming release on SCI+TEC and TRONIC i think it will be the release which makes a mark and my profile continues to evolve? Fingers Crossed

Subplot - What does the rest of 2014 have in store for you, anything you can share ?

Matt - I share the previews of my upcoming releases one week before. I can share with you the release date of Tronic which will be 16th June. The Ep includes 3 massive tracks for the dance floor! I'm also looking forward to see how my label works for 2014
