Stars line up to Rock Chester

Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Taio Cruz, The Wanted, McFly and The Saturdays are just some of the names signed up to Chester Rocks; a brand new two day music festival for Chester.

Taking place at the famous Chester Racecourse, the outdoor event will be held over the first weekend in July and will feature an eclectic range of artists. Saturday will be more pop-themed, while Sunday will cater for a rockier crowd.

Co-headlining on Saturday are Taio Cruz, McFly, The Saturdays, Sugababes and The Wanted. Along with Eliza Doolittle and Stephen Langstaff.

On the Sunday meanwhile, the legendary Iggy Pop and the Stooges lead a line-up of Echo and the Bunnymen and The Lightning Seeds, with more acts to be announced over the coming weeks.

A day ticket costs £47.50.
