The music and mayhem of the cult 1980s film This is Spinal Tap will be recreated in Hertford on Saturday 16th February when The Spinal Taps the UKs only Spinal Tap tribute band roar into town to rock The Corn Exchange.

The Taps have been generating rave reviews taking their show all over the north and midlands, and now, for the first time, theyre spreading their wings and heading south. A night with the band is a unique experience, including not only all the classic songs including Big Bottom, Rock'n'Roll Creation and Tonight Im Gonna Rock You Tonight but the most famous scenes and sketches from the film too. You can expect arguments, walkouts, flying cricket bats - and of course the infamous mini Stonehenge monument - to all make their appearance during the course of the evening.

The Taps recently re-created the most famous moment of the real Spinal Taps legendary performance at the Wembley Live Earth concert from 2007, during their gig at Grantham Playhouse. At Live Earth, Tap played their classic song Big Bottom live with an army of every bass player in the known universe in reality no less than 15 bass players from bands including the Foo Fighters, Metallica and the Beastie Boys. In Grantham, the Taps recreated the scene, this time using the cream of local music talent including members of the official Green Day tribute Green Date, midlands rockers Wallflower Blues and local legends Skeleton Crew.

Who knows what will happen this time out? But whatever it is, you can be sure it will be turned right up to 11! Tickets cost £10 and are available right here!!
