Soundcrash presents Roni Size Reprazent and Full Live Band

Soundcrash are on a serious run of form at the minute - they've time and again proven that they've got a handle on what it takes to throw top quality parties, and that shines through with their next show at KOKO on January 31st.

Taking charge of proceedings will be drum&bass legends Roni Size Reprazent. Responsible for creating perhaps the most seminal drum&bass records of all time - New Forms, the Bristolian beatsmiths have carved a sophisticated jazz infused D&B sound that remains as timeless as ever (see them in action above).

For their appearance for Soundcrash, main man Roni Size will be joined by Reprazent's full seven piece line up including Dynamite MC, Onalee, Si John, Dave Amso, Jay Wilcox and Danny Cox, the gang that made up the Mercury Award winning drum&bass ensemble (revisit 'Brown Paper Bag' below).

Talking about the show, Roni said "Bringing back Reprazent has been on my mind for some time now. I'm looking forward to playing new tracks from the new album. There’s no better feeling than when you walk on to the stage to perform a live show, the noise of the crowd, the screaming that turns into a roar! All of a sudden, its all systems go – then we all become one!"

With news of the first Reprazent material for over a decade, the show will showcase the latest sounds sounds from the forthcoming album Take Control as well as the EP Size Matters. Expect a raft of "dance floor cuts for the heads", delivered by one of the most import outfits in drum&bass history. Tickets are on sale Monday, check back for more details.
