It was another weekend of stunning Premier League action with the Saturday seeing 30 goals in the 8 fixtures. We will start with the biggest talking point of the weekend though and that is Ole no longer being at the wheel. Yes, unfortunately for fans of Premier League sides they will no longer get to look forward to the visit of Ole's United as he was sacked following a 4-1 defeat to Watford.

It's been a long time coming as they've been on the receiving end of too many thrashings recently, Solskjaer simply hadn't delivered in the biggest games. They never looked like they were going to get a result at Watford and ended up getting a thrashing that was thoroughly deserved.

Speaking of thrashings, Arsenal continued their tradition of turning up to Anfield and getting pummeled by a Jurgen Klopp side. They held on for over half an hour before being unlocked by a Sadio Mane header. The floodgates were opened in the second half as Liverpool outran Arsenal completely for a routine win.

In this big scoring weekend, there were two 3-3 draws between Burnley and Crystal Palace and Newcastle and Brentford. With Eddie Howe unable to attend the game due to testing positive for COVID, he was giving instructions from a hotel room as Allan Sain-Maximin equalised in the 75th minute. In other Premier League news, Steven Gerrard's first game in charge of Aston Villa resulted in a 2-0 win over Brighton and both Chelsea and Manchester continued their title charges.

In The Championship, Fulham cruised to a 4-1 win over Barnsley whilst the upset of the weekend was recently point-deducted Derby County beating promotion favourites Bournemouth 3-2 in spite of the chaos going on behind the scenes.
