Skiddle pledges to raise £500,000 for youth charity OnSide

Supported communities can create real change - that's a statement all of us here at Skiddle wholeheartedly believe.

Over the years, our customers have helped raise millions of pounds for incredible causes, supporting charities such as Great Ormond Street Hospital, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Support. Now, we’re proud to announce our latest charity partnership and an ambitious new fundraising goal.

We’re joining forces with OnSide, a national youth charity dedicated to helping young people discover their potential by providing access to opportunities that can shape their future. Together, we’ve pledged to raise at least £500,000 over the next four years.

OnSide is transforming the lives of young people through a growing network of Youth Zones across the UK. These aren’t your typical youth centres. They’re vibrant, purpose-built spaces where young people can try something new, discover their passions and develop valuable skills that could benefit them and their careers later in life.

With 18 Youth Zones already open and four more set to launch by 2027, OnSide is creating safe, inspiring environments in communities that need them most. Members can get involved in everything from football, dance and gym sessions to music production, photography, filmmaking and other creative activities. Alongside this, they can access one-to-one support, wellbeing services and guidance around employability and life skills.

Sometimes, all it takes is the right opportunity at the right moment to change the direction of a young person’s life. That’s why we’re committed to supporting OnSide’s life-changing work and helping more young people learn what they’re capable of.

To help us reach our £500,000 fundraising target, we’ve introduced a new £1 donation option at checkout when purchasing tickets through Skiddle. It might seem like a small contribution, but together those donations can make a huge difference. Every pound raised will help create more opportunities for young people across the country.

We’ll be working closely with OnSide throughout the partnership, supporting campaigns, collaborating on events and sharing updates on the impact our community is helping to create. We’ll also be shining a spotlight on some of the inspiring stories emerging from OnSide’s Youth Zones and the young people whose lives are being changed through their work.

Every ticket purchased and every donation made through Skiddle will help move us one step closer to our goal.
