London’s Signature Brew has teamed up with legendary amp makers Orange Amplification to launch a special edition of its Backstage IPA, with every pint poured helping to support artists across the UK via the Featured Artists Coalition (FAC).

Available now exclusively in independent music venues, the limited run sees Signature Brew’s fan-favourite IPA reworked into a cause-led release, with all profits going straight into initiatives like the UK Artist Touring fund. That fund, launched earlier this year, is already helping artists stay on the road amid rising touring costs.

And the beer itself? Expect a bold, punchy IPA that blends East and West Coast styles, packed with juicy notes of passionfruit, tangerine and berries, balanced by crisp citrus and pine.

Signature Brew founder Tom Bott says the collaboration is about protecting the spaces where music thrives, while Orange’s Sarah Yule hopes it sparks wider industry support for grassroots scenes. With backing from artists including Gus Unger-Hamilton, founding member of the award-winning band Alt-J, the message is clear: supporting live music starts from the ground up.

The campaign is set to roll out across venues and festivals this summer, with artist shoutouts and a celebratory show planned later this year. So next time you’re at a gig, look out for backstage IPA. Chances are that pint in your hand might just be helping keep live music alive.
