Shambala Festival has announced a large batch of new names to its lineup for 2026. The independent festival returns to Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens in Northampton this August Bank Holiday.
Among the over 70 new artists added to Shambala’s weighty lineup include surreal beatboxer and improvising comic Reggie Watts, Senegalese dance group Orchestra Baobab, Leeds-based jazz collective Nubiyan Twist, and psychedelic band Los Bitchos. Grove, Sarathy Korwar, Jamz Supernova, Prima Queen, and Avalanche Kaito are also set to join already-announced acts Bob Vylan, Hollie Cook, Goat, and Emma-Jean Thackray.
2026 follows on last year’s sold out edition, and the upcoming iteration sees Shambala debuting the Spiegeltent, a home for live circus, cabaret, and theatrical performances, curated by Bristol-based interactive theatre group Compass Presents. Known for its sustainable practices, which included removing meat and fish from its menus in 2016, Shambala has helped shift habits and cut food-related emissions to just 6% of the festival’s total, compared with an average of 21% at UK music festivals.
