What started in a disused mill slightly out of the way in Manchester city centre has now sprung a further chapter in its illustrious history; Sankeys London is here. They’ve successfully transplanted their own vision of twenty first century acid house to both Ibiza and New York, with the fourth instalment of the club confirmed to be taking place in the capital in Spring 2014.
The opening party on Saturday 15th March features DJ Sneak, Sidney Charles, Just Be and many more, as well as two unannounced guests, and sold out in rapid fashion. Tickets are now on sale for further Sankeys London events, and although no line ups have been revealed as of yet the undoubted quality of the Mancunian brand ensures they will be of a high pedigree. As a little opening offer there are no booking fees on the first event we have on sale, Thursday 17th April.
The venue will be nestled in Greenwich in the city, and like each of the two current re-imaginations of the Ancoats institution have stayed heavily to the ethos generated by the Manchester nerve centre. Underground in attitude and feel, Sankeys consistently delivers on the rave cave front and this jaunt in the capital will undoubtedly prove to maintain that standing.
