Silloth, Cumbria ? Solfest officially announces the updated line-up for 2021, their most ambitious roster of artists, unrivalled family entertainment and cuisine from all around the world. The Award-Winning Family Music and Arts Festival features Razorlight, Basement Jaxx (DJ Set), Maxïmo Park, Echo and the Bunnymen and much more with endless family entertainment, lakeside camping and stunning scenic views of the Solway Coast at North Lakes Country Park.

The updated line-up confirms new acts such as Utah Saints, DJ Hype, DJ Champion, and DJ Format ? as the Dance Tent headliners, The Amazons, Melt Yourself Down and This Is The Kit, and local artists Hardwicke Circus & MyLittleBrother ? as the Mainstage additions, and, for the first time, Thursday entertainment featuring Welsh Comedy Hip-hop band Goldie Lookin? Chain, Sam & the Womp, Funke & the Two Tone Baby, Jeremiah Ferrari & much more. This is in addition to their previously announced acts such as Razorlight, Basement Jaxx (DJ Set), Maximo Park, Echo & the Bunnymen and many more.

Solfest has also been awarded its second Culture Recovery Fund grant of £75,000 to help the organisation recover and reopen (£175,000 total). This grant will aid Solfest in providing a better experience for the festival?s attendees by providing a well-rounded music and arts festival, ensuring all of its production deposits are covered in the event of covid uncertainty.

Ticket sales have already surpassed the previous 5 events of Solfest, with an expanded capacity of 10,000, the family music and arts festival is expected to sell out and be the biggest in nearly a decade.

?This is our most ambitious and exciting event in the history of Solfest,? said Sam Johnston, Festival Director at Solfest. ?With help from the Cultural Recovery Fund we?ve received in November, and now the full amount we asked for in Round 2, we have been able to upgrade and expand the entire production for 2021. We would like to thank DCMS for awarding the grant to us, as with this, we can?t wait to bring you back to the fields, see you at Solfest!?
